The Science Behind series at Walking Mountains continues on Wednesday, March 21st at 6:30pm with the “Science Behind Worm Composting”. Come discover the wonders of compost. Learn about the decomposition process, the benefits of keeping food waste out of the dump, and various composting methods. We will focus on the ease of worm composting for people who live in small places. Build and take home your own worm compost tub complete with a starter population of red wiggler worms. Given in partnership with the Eagle Valley Alliance for Sustainability.
